What if we could feel colours ?

What if blind people could feel pictures ?

A new standard for tactile colour perception for the inclusion in education, arts & public space.

Based on the standard of the existing system of the State Funding Centre See in Schleswigin Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, surfaces represent colours by cool, warm, soft & hard materials.
The system will be spread into the public as a tactile compass with 11 textures for the basic colours. The tactile compass gives orientation and is a new medium of inclusion between the seeing and blind people.
Furthermore, it helps to remember colours and enables seeing as blind people to resensitize our tactile senses.
